Both the restaurant and lobby were absolutely packed with people so I’m not sure if this would be the best hotel choice for people not watching the baseball game on game nights. Unless you are staying at this hotel to see a baseball game I really do not see the appeal. The Renaissance Dowtown Hotel is attached to the Skydome, home of the Toronto Blue Jays baseball team.

It sounded like someone was drilling or so - for 20 min!! Overall one of the best hotels I've stayed at in Toronto. But what made our stay outstanding was the service -- the valet Taret (apologies if I misspelled it) arranged for 2 of our 3 nights to be in a room overlooking the Rogers Centre field -- much to our delight, the concierge Monica bought the NY Times for me (I was charged for it but she made the effort to get it), and Alexandre at the restaurant was wonderful with our children. Prices are the average nightly price provided by our partners and may not include all taxes and fees. We asked the front desk what that noise was but they had no idea.
Customer service was good as well. I think that with the location and the stadium view rooms this is a great hotel for Blue Jays fans in town to watch baseball.
I would have contested. We were thrilled! The parking is also very affordable for the city of Toronto.I am always appreciated by the front desk for being a Marriott Rewards Member, and it makes me feel valued.Love this place!

The website says that the room has two bathrooms, but ours only had one and it was on the upper level which wasn’t ideal when watching the game from the lower level but it was fine. We had spent 10 days in my hometown, Sudbury, and my cousin, Kevin, booked a room for our last night here as a surprise for my son to end his vacation (as we drove from Sudbury to TO). 1.5k.

The door men were a great help helping planning our routes round the city, the front desk in helping organise a hire car (many thanks Giri & Constantine). I can assure you that if we have awareness of any disturbances, our Security will respond immediately to ensure that everyone has an enjoyable stay. The room was originally booked as city view but were given venue view - which if there was an event would be an awesome room. We stayed at the Renaissance and rented the stadium view room for a Blue Jays game.Our room was extremely clean and the view was fantastic.The hotel staff are very polite and helpful.I would recommend this hotel as we will definitely repeat this wonderful experience. I have shared your experience with our team and the individuals mentioned to ensure that they receive recognition for the excellent service they have provided to your family. We kept waking up from the trains.
